First day raya..

Selamat Hari Raya!! Again, this year, my first day raya still atas keretapi..hehe.. tot raya was on 1 Oct tapi jatuh hari Selasa (30 Sept 08). But this time, mlm rayaku sungguh meriah...I was at Kak Zureen's house mlm raya...tolong2 menyibuk kat dapur dia.. Her raya menu as follows; rendang tok, rendang ayam, satay n kuah kacang, ketupat nasi n ketupat pulut....yummie2...i just spent few hours at Kak Zureen's house pagi raya coz i had to catch my train to Notts at 10.45am..whatever it is, smpt lagi berposing di pagi raya..!..hehe...

Buka puasa time..

Alhamdulillah..murah rezekiku di bulan Ramadhan al-Mubarak ni....My classmates invited me to their house for buka puasa wif their family..best2.. thanks to Kak Zureen, Aiza, Kak Al and Kak Nor.. i really enjoyed the food being served.. ....

New home..new office..
|

In my last entry, I did mention about me moving in, moving out, packing and unpacking...and finally .taddda....I'm now in my new flat..new office..BUT still in Cardiff....Officially i moved in all my things to my office on 010908 and to my new flat on 070908. Was really tiring especially in this mth...while i was packing my things, i told myself that i'm not going to move out to another house nxt yr ..hehe..... thanks Abg Saiful & Kak Zureen for helping ! !
Currently I'm sharing my office wif Zuha and Kak Zureen..really glad to have them around coz they've cleaned up everything for me while i was away...i just unpack my things ... As for my new flat, I'm sharing wif Zuha, Bee and Margoux ..This flat has 4 ensuite rooms and a kitchen + living room..i just love this new place..is about 3mins walking to my office..greatt..greatt... hmm..looks like I have no reasons not to go to skool..hehe..
I have photos to be shared...hope u enjoy...till laterz...
p/s: me counting days nk balik kampung...in Notts this year..

Back to Cardiff..
|

I'm back to Cardiff after my longggg holiday in Notts wif my family. Mama and Baba went back to Malaysia last Tuesday ..Mama was here for a mth plus while Baba for a week (as usual, my busy father..hehe..).. I was so happy when they were around and within a month i've put on weight coz well fed!! ) Mama @ the best chef was around so, I can't miss any of her yummie cooking ...hihi...
Alhmadulillah, my sis Kak Ngah a.k.a Abg Bd is in good health condition under the 'supervision' of my bro in law, Abg Ady..hehe..and my new Miamor is busy wif his routine, sleeping, eating and crying all the time... (miss him so much now!!) Hope to see you guys this coming Raya, insya Allah...
Coming back to Cardiff means several things need to be done...Alhamdulillah, i've passed my first yr program and there'll be a progress report wif my supervisor end of this September..hoping that i can perform and meet the expectation. Next week I have to start packing and unpacking my things...First, I'm moving out to a new hall. Though the hall is just opposite of my current hall, but i have to pack my things ...(now i realized that i hv many things in my room..hehe..), then, I have to pack my things in the school as i hv been allocated a new room ... luckily Zuha and Kak Zureen (my colleague) have cleaned up the place when i was away...
Orait..thats the update for now...till laterz...happy MERDEKA and selamat menyambut Ramadhan al Mubarak... btw, this 2nd Sept is my first 'anniversary' in UK (time flies so fastt).....do pray for my success here for the coming years..

Dunkirk Waffle

Waffle...
A
250 g flour
15 g salt
a teaspoon of baking powder
355 ml milk
90 ml vegetable oil
2 eggs (yolk)
B
2 eggs (white)
Stir A until smooth. Then, in a separate bowl, stir the white eggs. Finally, combine A and B...and its ready to be put on the waffle maker..nice to be served with ice cream ...slurrppp..

Strawberry picking - Gelynis Farm

Strawberry picking!! Went to Gelynis Farm for strawberry picking wif Kak Zureen (my classmate) & her family.. we spent there for almost an hour and luckily it was sunny. The kids were so excited just like me..heheh....actually, we've planned for this strawberry picking for 'ages' and only yesterday we managed to go there...we brought back strawberries and the kids made delicious smoothies ...hopefully we can go to other farms nxt time...

Mini FEM's meeting in Cardiff...heheh

A colleague of mine (Dean) came here for a conference last week...Me, Dean, Yazis (another colleague from FEM* who just arrived in Cardiff) and Mas (Yazis's wife) had an 'ad hoc' dinner together before Dean left for Kuala Lumpur...so, we considered it as mini FEM's meeting in Cardiff and was held in my place...Talybont South..hehe.. Yazis will be starting his study this July while Mas is going to Southampton in September.. ..
