Bdy Ateh & Che Da

Yeppiee..celebrate my bdy again wif Ateh ..Ateh bdy was on 19 Dec and mine was on 14 Dec. Had makan2 at Stoke and potong2 cake..hehe.. We had special guests from Mesia..Pakcik Ahmad & Makcik Shabinar (Kak Ngah's father and mother in law)... then, Makcik Shabinar cooked Mee Rebus for us and I cooked Nasi Carrot & Ayam Merah & Salathah (kak pah , ingtkan salathah ni..ur fav lagi..hehe..)... + popiah & falafel as appetizer..
Faris was supposed to go school today but he refused coz excited Uncle Ady & Che Ngah came..but, Faris and Ateh 'gamuk2' pulak....waduuh...fenin2 Pakcik Ahmad & Makcik Shabinar tgk gelagat diorg..anyway, I got recipe Mee Rebus from Makcik Shabinar..sedap tau...must try one day..

We have two potential 'naked chefs' from Stoke on Trent...and today these two naked chefs would like to share their new recipe (Strawberry & Banana Smoothies) wif all the viewers.. ... 
What we need :i) strawberry (freshly plucked from the secret garden), ii) banana (preferably Del Monte, iii) fresh milk ...then, we mixed the strawberry, banana and milk...n here we are....StrAwbErRy & bAnAnA SmOoThIEs...yummie..yummie...deliciousss...   enjoiceee....

Nasi Beriyani + Dalca Ala Maghribi

Salam Aidiladha…this yr raya di kampungku, Stoke on Trent. Hehe..Mama and Baba di Mekah, Kak Ngah and Abg Ady kat Notts and my younger sis, Wawa, is the one yang beraya di perantauan..hehe. ..but my cousin Nazry, the only chef in da family, is there in Bangi to cook special beriyani for my sis, nenek and Aunty Huda…yummie-yummie in my tummy mcm kata Faris…
Dah nama pun raya, so, yesterday night, I cooked my favorite dish…Nasi Beriyani + Dalca ala Maghribi. I remember last year I cooked this same dish for Raya Aidiladha..the only difference, Nazry was helping me last year and this year my Amor2 a.k.a Ateh pulak jd my assistant kat dapur..hehe… ni some of the pix taken before, during and after masak. …hmm..lapar2…to all, Salam Aidiladha…

YEEE!!! holiday-holiday-holiday.... i have 4 wks holiday and linessss of assignment to be done within 4 weeks..hehe..whatever it is, holiday is still holiday. Kak Iya & family came down to Cardiff on 16 Dec..stayed one night and the nxt morning balik Stoke ( including mee!! ).... Smpt gak jln2 kat Cardiff an dof coz amik gambaqla..

Me turning 27...hehe...

I'm already 27.. well, age is just about number but really feel like i'm still 17.. ) This yr, i celebrate my bdy wif my girl frens.. Myself, Zu, Bee, Grace and Ida went out for dinner and had our Msian cuisine at this Bali Restaurant (restaurant that serve M'sian, S'pore, and Indons food )....Me and Grace ordered Char Kuey Teow, Zu & Bee had Nasi Goreng and Ida had Nasi Lemak... the food was OK and not bad... no bdy cake but had this party pack that meant for Christmas party ...hehe..so, i had this tiny plastic frog as my present ..hehe..(probably i should kiss the frog and it transform to be my prince charming, maybe? hahaha... After dinner, went to the City and park , just jln2 and enjoy the cold weather at nite..... had a great time wif these girls....to all my beloved frens and family, thanks 4 da wish and presentsss.....

It's been a while i didn't update my FP...a bit busy lately and nothing to update sbnarnye.. anyway, just came back from Nottingham (kak ngah's place) and spent my weekend there...ada Notts game last Saturdy n sambil2 tu jln2 di Notts. This Notts game involves all Malaysian students all over the UK...lots of games ; basketball, netball, volleyball, football and etc... interesting coz this game held once a yr. so, berpeluanglah for me to meet Msian here di bumi UK...anyway, i enjoyed football coz Abg Ady ni melantik diri sendiri as manager tak rasmi Notts team (undergrad)...hehe... Notts team kalah but the most important thing is the team spirit..

Trip to Oxford..

I had an opportunity to visit Oxford. The trip was organized by the Graduate Center for postgrads’ students in Cardiff. Since I’ve never been to Oxford (only knows about Oxford Univ and Oxford Dictionary..hehe..), so, I followed the trip…
8.45am-Left Cardiff on double deck bus….I thought I could enjoy the view from Cardiff to Oxford but I had my ‘sickness’ on the bus (haha..i had this once when I traveled to Switzerland last 2 yrs (ooh ya, my sis know this very well..) and as a result, I had to close my eyes until Oxford …
11.00am – 5.00pm-Reached Oxford..it’s beauuuutifull… it’s like a city in a garden! So nice…it’s totally different from Cardiff coz Cardiff is a real city while Oxford is a city in a garden..ooh ya, I wasn’t alone for that trip but I went with Zuha, Ida, Grace and Cleopatra. The 5 of us never been to Oxford but all us reaalllly like the place a lot! We went to Covered Market (it’s like a wet market wif lots of fruits, veges and fish), Ashmoleum Museum (well, what do u expect from a museum..hehe..), Broad Street, High Street, Oxford Castle (Cardiff Castle pun tak sampai lagi..), Christ Church (we didn’t enter the Church coz we had to pay 4pounds each person), the Secret Garden kat Worcester College, University College of Oxford (took the Uni photo though didn’t get the opportunity to study there…hehe) and of coz the shopping center (lots of shopsss).
Among all the places, I love Secret Garden the most (actually, we were not sure of the name but we just gave a name..) so beautiful and it only can be described with one word…NICEE…  …and in the lake at the Secret Garden, there’s this ‘Mandarin Duck’ which has its own story…according to Ida, if the mate (partner) of this Mandarin Duck died, the partner will die too because of broken heart..wahh…sehidup semati these ducks..and the ducks are always in pairs…
I already 'jatuh chenta' dgn Oxford and I was telling Ida that I should have applied Oxford University and before she said anything, I told myself that probably the university didn’t even wanna see my application…haha.. but Cardiff Univ is just so fine wif me..
6.00pm – Left Oxford and reached Cardiff around 8.00pm. It was fun and enjoyable…well, plan to join the next trip to Bath soon…Enjoy the pix..

England will play South Africa in Saturday's Rugby World Cup final. Well, i'm not a rugby fan but since i'm in UK now ,rugby world cup is really a big thing here ...interesting gak the game coz tgk org penyek2...hehe...
Btw, my bro in law (Abg Ady) ni die hard fan of rugby and former player for Cobra Msia team (position no 2kan? yg scrum2 tu..)..and my sis pun (Kak Ngah) pun dh ikut sama n the best part is si Faris dh pandai nk menari 'Hakka Dance' but ala2 'macarena'...Abg Ady ni supporter New Zealand tapi dh kalah ngan France...so, who's ur fav now for final? we'll see sapa yg menang...South Africa or England?

Back to skool...!! after days time spent in Stoke on Trent, i had to go back to Cardiff..uuwwaa...nk raya lagi!! well, what to do...anyway, was happy coz i had a great raya ... best! best! that sunday morning supposed to be our 3rd dy raya but all of us pagi2 dh mencari 'car boot' ..hehe...almost 1hr plus we were there then rombongan 'Cik Kiah @ the karachis' pun bergeraklah ke Cardiff..
We stopped twice kat Service (ala2 R&R kat msia)....well, jln2 makan angin..reached Cardiff around 3pm and straight to my house...mcm nk runtuh rumah when the rombongan reached my house...hehe.. almaklumlah, when 2fs around, the whole world tau! but cute comment from my flatmate was, 'i heard cute voice from ur room n it must be from cute lil boy' ..sapa lagi if not my miamor faris n me amor ateh...both of them excited to see train kat blkg ni...and if u guys can see, both of them punyerlah proper masa amik gambar coz ada minah saleh yg cun took the photo for us ...haha...or else, don't ever think they'll stand straight!
